Pittsburgh Children's Museum
Mr. Roger's Neighborhood

Mr. Roger's Neighborhood is a permanent and popular attraction at the Pittsburgh Children's Museum. Based on the long running public television series of the same name, this exhibit offers young visitors the opportunity to visit and explore the Neighborhood that they know so well from seeing it on TV. Video and audio elements add to the level of involvement. Museum Technology is pleased to have been selected to provide the DVD and CD audio equipment used throughout the installation.

In addition to Pittsburgh, a duplicate is traveling around the United States. Scheduled through 2006, Mr. Roger's Neighborhood will be at the CM2 Children's Museum (Portland, Oregon) before moving to the Indianapolis Children's Museum in May.

Thanks to Donna DiBartolomeo, Exhibits Coordinator, The Pittsburgh Children's Museum for providing the photos.

Not only can the young visitors interact with multi-media, they can, and often do, interact with the contents of Mr. Roger's well known closet
